Matt Belbin was born in California in 1992 to an English father and a Thai mother, and later raised in Hong Kong, where his parents originally met and married in the early 1980s.

After graduating from Prague Film School in the Czech Republic, he went on to further his film education at the Met Film School in Berlin, Germany.

Since then, he has co-directed and edited the award-winning documentary Sun Village, worked over five years as a Senior Video Producer for OneFootball and now resides between Berlin and Thailand as a freelance Creative Video Producer.

He loves dynamic, freewheeling videography in any location, whilst also has a passion for perfecting an edit just right. 

Besides video production, he also enjoys analogue photography, cooking, playing football discussing history and geopolitics.

Owing to his multi-cultural background, he can probably speak a few words of your language - and if not, please teach him!
